Factions account: can i add factions chars to my old gw account? - Guild Wars Forums

ive been playing gw for about half a year and i recently got factions, and made an entirely different accout (with a different email address and password). Is it possible to create a factions character on my old gw account, and if so, is that the only way to play ur factions chars in the old gw world (tryia)?

2 separate unmerged accounts are 2 separate games with no ability to transfer characters or create other chapter characters.

and no they cannot be merged after creation

so does that mean i would have to get a completely different access key and merge that account with the old gw account? at btw, how would i even go about merging them if i had another access key? i did not see any option to merge them when i first installed factions.

YES. as for how to go about merging the account at the login screen after u opend guild wars rite under where u enter your password there is a Create Account Or Add Access Key u click it and it give u a choice of ethier Adding an access key to an exsiting guild wars account or creating a new one u want the first one
